(SportsNetwork.com) - The New York Jets have reportedly acquired quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick from the Houston Texans.

The New York Post is reporting the trade, citing an unidentified source. ESPN is also reporting the trade, adding the compensation is a late-round draft pick and that the Jets will be on the hook for the remaining $3.25 million on his contract.

Fitzpatrick played in 12 games last season for the Texans, completing 63.1 percent of his passes for 2,483 yards with 17 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

In 97 games since entering the league in 2005, Fitzpatrick has completed 60.2 percent of his passes for 19,273 yards with 123 TDs and 101 picks.
