Montpellier, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Nabil Fekir and Alexandre Lacazette scored two goals apiece as Lyon returned to the top of Ligue 1 on Sunday with a 5-1 win at Montpellier.
The hosts needed just six minutes to take the lead as Lucas Barrios took a pass inside the area from Bryan Dabo and scored from 10 yards.
However, Lyon took over after that, and the final 60 minutes of the match saw Lyon outscore the home side 5-0.
Fekir drew a foul inside the penalty area on Montpellier's Abdelhamid El Kaoutari, allowing Lacazette to fire his spot kick into the lower right corner.
Fekir scored 10 minutes later to hand Lyon a 2-1 halftime lead as he beat goalkeeper Geoffrey Jourdren at his near post after a pass from Yoann Gourcuff.
That duo combined again in the 72nd with Fekir scoring his second goal of the match from the middle of the box after being picked out by Gourcuff.
The visitors then added two more goals in the closing minutes with Corentin Tolisso scoring from a few yards before Lacazette netted his league-leading 24th goal.
St Etienne topped 10-man Lorient, 2-0, with second-half goals from Yohan Mollo and Max-Alain Gradel, while Lille used a goal in the 51st minute from Nolan Roux to claim a 1-0 away win against Guingamp.
