Paderborn, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Bayer Leverkusen climbed to fourth place in the Bundesliga on Sunday as the club rallied for three goals over the final 20 minutes to claim a 3-0 win at Paderborn.
Kyriakos Papadopoulos struck the opening goal in the 73rd minute, and Son Heung-min added two more in the final six minutes of the game to secure all three points.
The win takes Leverkusen one point clear of both Augsburg and Schalke in the race for a Champions League spot, while Paderborn remains in the relegation places, two points from safety.
Despite controlling large portions of the match, Paderborn was unable to find the finishing touch, and Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno did well to deny the opener in the first half when he saved a curling free kick from Paderborn's Alban Meha.
The hosts continued to create chances after the break, but after some more wasteful play in front of goal, the visitors snatched the lead through Papadopoulos, whose flicked header from Gonzalo Castro's free kick found its way past goalkeeper Lukas Kruse.
Castro had a hand in the second goal as well with a headed cross that was finished off by Son, who added a third goal in stoppage time with a low shot that hit the bottom right corner of the net.
Sunday's other Bundesliga fixture saw Cologne move five points clear of the relegation spots with a 4-2 victory over Eintracht.
Alexander Meier scored both goals for Eintracht, but Cologne managed to find the net three times in the span of 10 second-half minutes.
