Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Georgia Tech leading scorer Marcus Georges- Hunt will miss the ACC Tournament next week because of a broken right foot.

Georges-Hunt suffered the injury during Tuesday's game against North Carolina and will undergo surgery on March 16. He will travel with the team for the tournament in Greensboro.

"Marcus has had such a tremendous junior year, it is very disappointing to all of us that he won't be able to complete his great play in Greensboro at the ACC Tournament," said Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory in a statement Thursday. "Marcus is such a determined and committed athlete. We know he will make a full recovery and come back stronger and better."

The 6-foot-5 junior was averaging a career-high 13.6 points while adding 5.5 rebounds this season.
