Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger will miss the rest of the season with a broken bone in his left foot, the team announced Sunday.

The decision to shut him down was made following further medical evaluation at New England Baptist Hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with a metatarsal stress fracture.

Sullinger, who suffered the injury Feb. 11 against Atlanta, averaged 14.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 51 games this season.
