Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Boston Bruins announced Saturday that defenseman Kevan Miller, who was originally placed on injured reserve Thursday, will have season-ending surgery.
Miller, 27, suffered what was eventually diagnosed as a dislocated right shoulder during Boston's 4-3 overtime loss to Calgary on Monday.
The University of Vermont product picked up two goals and five assists over 41 games in his second NHL season.
