Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Philadelphia Flyers signed defenseman Nick Schultz to a multi-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.
Schultz, 32, has two goals and 11 assists in 55 games this season, his first with the Flyers.
Selected by Minnesota in the second round of the 2000 draft, Schultz has registered 29 goals and 130 assists in 935 career games with the Wild, Edmonton Oilers, Columbus Blue Jackets and Flyers.
