Antwerp, Belgium (SportsNetwork.com) - Fifth-seeded Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain withdrew from Sunday's final at the Diamond Games because of a neck injury, handing the title to third-seeded German Andrea Petkovic.

Suarez Navarro addressed the crowd, apologizing and stating that her neck was sore when she woke up this morning.

Instead of facing Suarez Navarro, Petkovic, who earned her sixth career WTA title, played an exhibition with Kim Clijsters. The retired Belgian legend is the tournament director.

Petkovic won titles in Charleston, Bad Gastein and Sofia last year.
