Daytona Beach, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Renovated Municipal Stadium isn't all that's new with Bethune-Cookman football.
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference power announced on Wednesday an 11-game 2015 schedule for head coach Terry Sims' first season of leading the Wildcats.
Sims had spent the last five seasons as a Bethune assistant under Brian Jenkins, who resigned to become Alabama State's new head coach.
Bethune-Cookman will open the new campaign downstate at the University of Miami on Sept. 5. The Wildcats also will host five opponents at Municipal Stadium: Lane (Sept. 19) and MEAC opponents Savannah State (Sept. 26), South Carolina State (Oct. 10), Norfolk State (Oct. 24) and Morgan State (Nov. 7).
The Wildcats had a 9-3 record last season, earning a share of their fourth MEAC title in the last five years and finishing 23rd in The Sports Network FCS Top 25.
