Rennes, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Marseille rallied to salvage a point from a 1-1 draw at Rennes on Saturday.
The hosts were in front after 27 minutes as Ola Toivonen collected a failed clearance and hammered a half-volley just inside the post.
Rennes held the lead until the hour mark when Lucas Ariel Ocampos got on the end of a corner kick delivery to the near post and guided his shot off the woodwork and into the back of the net.
Marseille was reduced to 10 men in the 84th minute when Mario Lemina was sent off for violent conduct, but the visitors managed to close out the match to claim a point.
The result sees second-place Marseille improve to 48 points, but it gives Lyon the opportunity to extend its lead at the Ligue 1 summit with a victory over PSG on Sunday.
Bastia netted two second-half goals en route to a 2-0 defeat of 10-man Metz on Saturday.
Guido Milan received his second yellow card five minutes into the second half to give Bastia a slight edge, and the hosts took advantage with Francois Kamano breaking the deadlock in the 65th. Ryad Boudebouz converted a penalty 11 minutes from time to seal the victory.
Cean picked up a 2-0 win over Toulouse in similar fashion as Sloan Privat's opening goal in the 17th minute proved to be the difference, but Julien Feret stuffed home a second-half penalty to provide some insurance.
Lorient overturned a halftime deficit to earn a 3-1 win at Reims on Saturday. Benjamin Moukandjo's 42nd-minute opener put the hosts in front, but second- half goals from Lamine Gassama, Raphael Guerreiro and Benjamin Jeannot saw Lorient leave the Stade Auguste Delaune II with the spoils.
Also on Saturday, Nolan Roux and Marcos Lopes lifted Lille to a 2-1 win at Montpellier while Wahbi Khazri produced the lone goal in Bordeaux's 1-0 victory at Evian.
