Eindhoven, Netherlands (SportsNetwork.com) - Memphis Depay continued his fine season by bagging a brace in PSV Eindhoven's 3-1 defeat of Utrecht on Saturday.
Following a goalless first period, Luciano Narsingh put PSV in front just three minutes after the restart.
Depay then seized control of the match, doubling PSV's advantage three minutes later with what proved to be the game-winning goal.
Yassine Ayoub pulled one back for Utrecht in the 69th minute, but it was all for naught as Depay struck again in the 90th minute with his Eredivisie- leading 15th goal of the campaign.
The win lifts PSV to 58 points on the season, extending the club's lead at the Eredivisie summit to 15 points.
Utrecht, meanwhile, remains stuck on 24 points.
Zwolle slipped three points back of top spot following its 4-0 demolition at the hands of Heerenveen on Saturday.
Heerenveen was three goals to the good by halftime as Luciano Slagveer, Sam Larsson and Mark Uth netted a goal apiece before the break while Henk Veerman tacked on a late goal five minutes from time to keep Zwolle on 39 points.
Excelsior produced two second-half goals at Twente on Saturday to collect a 3-1 victory.
After Jeff Stans and Jesus Corona exchanged goals in the opening period, Excelsior went on to claim all three points thanks to strikes from Daan Bovenberg and Kevin Vermeulen.
Also on Saturday, Bertrand Traore netted the lone goal in Vitesse's 1-0 defeat of NAC Breda and Den Haag was held to a 0-0 draw Dordrecht.
