Chattanooga, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Defending Southern Conference champion Chattanooga will play five home game and wrap up the 2015 regular season at Florida State as part of an 11-game schedule announced on Tuesday.
The Mocs, who went 10-4, reached the FCS playoffs for the first time in 30 years and finished eighth in The Sports Network FCS Top 25 last season, will host Jacksonville State (Sept. 5) and Mars Hill (Sept. 12) in non-conference action as well as Furman (Oct. 10), Western Carolina (Oct. 31) and The Citadel (Nov. 14) in SoCon games at Finley Stadium.
Coach Russ Huesman's squad also will visit Florida State on Nov. 21 for the third all-time meeting between the two programs. The Seminoles won at home in the previous meetings, 37-0 in 1984 and 46-7 in 2008.
