New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - South Carolina remained the No. 1 team in the latest Associated Press women's basketball poll.
The Gamecocks, at 21-0, are one of two unbeaten teams in Division I women's basketball and are at the top of the rankings for an 11th straight week after receiving 26 first-place votes and a total of 842 points from a nationwide media panel.
Connecticut again earned eight No. 1 votes to keep the second spot, while the next seven teams -- Baylor, Notre Dame, Maryland, Tennessee, Oregon State, Louisville and Florida State -- remained unchanged.
Arizona State completed this week's top 10, swapping places with No. 11 Kentucky.
The remainder of the second 10 consists of Stanford, North Carolina, Texas A&M, Duke, Iowa, Mississippi State, Princeton, Nebraska and Texas. Princeton is also unbeaten at 19-0.
Rutgers, Georgia, Chattanooga, George Washington and Syracuse are the last five teams ranked this week.
George Washington, riding a 17-game winning streak, is the lone newcomer. Oklahoma, which entered the rankings last week at No. 24, fell out of this week's poll.
