Lyon, France (SportsNetwork.com) - Lyon will be without defender Milan Bisevac for the remainder of the campaign after he ruptured knee ligaments in his team's 0-0 draw with Monaco on Sunday.
The result trimmed Lyon's lead at the top of Ligue 1 to two points over Marseille and PSG, but Hubert Fournier's side will now go the rest of the way without Bisevac, who signed with Lyon from PSG in 2012.
Bisevac has started 13 games this term for Lyon, but he will undergo surgery on Thursday to repair the problem, keeping him out of action for up to six months.
The Serbia international was part of a defense that has yielded the second- fewest goals in Ligue 1 this season having given up 17 in 23 matches.
