Senators score 4 goals in a hurry, rout Coyotes 7-2

Mark Stone, Bobby Ryan and Erik Karlsson each had a goal and an assist, helping the Ottawa Senators break away from the Arizona Coyotes 7-2 Saturday.

Marc Methot added three assists for the Senators.

It was 1-all before Ottawa scored four times in 5½ minutes. Milan Michalek broke the tie with 3:09 left in the second period and Stone made it 3-1.

Ryan's shot from the top of the crease beat Arizona goaltender Mike Smith at 1:57 of the third period. Jean Gabriel Pageau scored 20 seconds later, finishing Smith after just 20 shots.
