Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Michael Del Zotto recorded the game's lone goal and Steve Mason stopped 30 shots as Philadelphia claimed a 1-0 decision over Toronto on Saturday.

Mason made his 100th career appearance for the club a memorable one, recording his second shutout of the season and 25th career whitewash for the Flyers, who have won a season-high four straight games.

"Right from the start, it was almost like one goal was going to be enough, and that's what it turned out to be," said Mason. "For a goaltender, you just have to focus on the next shot and not look at the big picture."

James Reimer made 17 saves for the Maple Leafs, whose losing skid reached nine consecutive outings.

"My job is not to score goals, my job isn't to put the puck in the net it's to keep it out. We lost 1-0 and I see that as I didn't do my job well enough," Reimer lamented.

Del Zotto beat Reimer high and inside the far post from a sharp angle in the left circle just 4:05 into the contest.

Mason made 12 saves in the first, his best a dive from right to left to smother a Nazem Kadri chance with roughly two minutes on the clock.

After a relatively sedate eight-save second period, Mason then made a shoulder stop to seal off the near post on a Morgan Rielly wraparound try with 5 1/2 minutes left in the contest.

"It looked obviously dangerous from the bench, but it didn't seem like he had a whole lot to shoot at," said Flyers head coach Craig Berube.

Jakub Voracek was sent off for tripping with 3:31 remaining and the Leafs received their first power-play chance at a crucial time. Toronto recorded just one quality chance on the advantage.

The hosts couldn't convert a 3-on-1 chance immediately after Voracek exited the penalty box, and Reimer was called to the bench for an extra skater a short time later.

An icing with 5.4 showing put a right-wing faceoff in the Leafs' offensive zone. Toronto won the draw, but Phil Kessel missed high and wide from the left wing as time ran out.
