Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Colorado Rockies have acquired right- handed pitchers David Hale and Gus Schlosser in exchange for catchers Jose Briceno and Chris O'Dowd.
Hale and Schlosser are the only players in the deal with major league experience.
After allowing just one earned run over two starts in 2013, the 27-year-old Hale went 4-5 with a 3.30 ERA in 45 games -- six starts -- for Atlanta last season.
Schlosser was roughed up for 16 runs -- 15 earned -- over 17 2/3 innings over 15 appearances with the Braves in 2014.
Briceno, 22, has spent the past two seasons at Single-A Asheville, while the 23-year-old O'Dowd split 2014 between High-A Modesto and Double-A Tulsa.
