Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Kings are expected to have forward Tyler Toffoli back in the lineup when the defending Stanley Cup champions return from the All-Star break to host Chicago on Wednesday.
Toffoli was activated from injured reserve prior to Wednesday's game. The 22- year-old wing has been sidelined since Jan. 8 by a bout with mononucleosis, keeping him out of the Kings' final six games prior to the break.
In his second full NHL season, Toffoli leads Los Angeles in plus-minus rating (+16) and is tied for third on the team with 12 goals. His 27 points through 41 games are the fourth-most among Kings players.
