Kennesaw, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kennesaw State will play a full 11-game schedule in its inaugural season of football after adding a sixth home game.

The start-up FCS program and associate member of the Big South Conference announced Wednesday the addition of a Sept. 19 game against Division II Shorter at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

The matchup replaces a previous game versus Paine College which was canceled when the Division II program announced it would be suspending football.

Coach Brian Bohannon will lead Kennesaw State into its first season, which kicks off Sept. 3 at East Tennessee State, which is returning to football after dropping the sport in 2003.
