Manchester, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Manchester City brought in some attacking reinforcements on Wednesday after completing a deal to sign striker Wilfried Bony from Swansea City.

Bony, 26, moves to the Etihad Stadium on a new four-year contract for a fee of around 28 million pounds.

"It's a great feeling for me, it's a big honor to be here and it's a great challenge," the Ivory Coast international said.

"As a player it's always good to be part of one of the biggest clubs in the world and it's a good opportunity for me to be in that situation now -- I'm really proud."

Bony was the Premier League's 20-goal top scorer in the calendar year of 2014 and struck 34 times in 70 games for Swansea after joining from Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in 2013.
