Liverpool, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is set to miss a month of action after suffering a thigh injury, it was revealed on Monday.
Lallana, 26, was in fine form for the Merseyside club after scoring a pair of goals to lead Liverpool to a 4-1 thrashing of Swansea City last Monday, but was forced off the pitch against Leicester City on New Year's Day after 55 minutes.
He missed Monday's third-round FA Cup match against AFC Wimbledon and will also miss both legs of the club's Capital One Cup semifinal against Chelsea as well as several Premier League matches.
The former Southampton man has scored four goals and registered two assists in 14 Premier League appearances for Liverpool this season.
