New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Mike Budenholzer of the Atlanta Hawks and Terry Stotts of the Portland Trail Blazers were named Monday as NBA Coaches of the Month for December.

Budenholzer and Stotts led their teams to the best record in their conferences, with the Hawks going 14-2 in the East and the Trail Blazers leading the West with a 13-3 mark.

The Hawks set the franchise record for the highest winning percentage (.875) in a month (minimum four games) while equaling the team mark for most wins in a month. Atlanta won seven consecutive games to open the month, part of an overall nine-game winning streak which dated back to Nov. 28.

Portland recorded three winning streaks of at least four games in December, went 3-0 in overtime games and were undefeated (6-0) at the Moda Center.
