New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The NFL announced its playoff schedule Sunday night.

In the AFC, New England and Denver hold the byes. The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers are the top two seeds in the NFC.

The postseason will kick off in Carolina on Saturday at 4:35 p.m. ET, with the fifth-seeded Arizona Cardinals heading to Bank of America Stadium to clash with the fourth-seeded Panthers.

The Panthers clinched the NFC South for the second year in a row with a 34-3 rout of the Falcons on Sunday.

The Saturday night game at 8:15 will feature the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the sixth-seeded Baltimore Ravens. The Steelers won their first AFC North title since 2010 with a 27-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night.

The Ravens got into the playoffs thanks to a 20-10 win over the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City's 19-7 victory against San Diego.

Next Sunday at 1:05, the fifth-seeded Bengals will travel to Indianapolis to take on the AFC South-champion Colts.

The wild-card round will conclude at 4:40 Sunday at AT&T Stadium as the third-seeded and NFC East-champion Cowboys host the No. 6 seed Detroit Lions. The Packers beat the Lions 30-20 Sunday to capture the NFC North title, but Detroit had already clinched a playoff berth.

The divisional round will take place Jan. 10-11.

The AFC and NFC championship Games take place on Sunday, Jan. 18. The Super Bowl is on Sunday, Feb. 1 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
