Des Moines, IA (SportsNetwork.com) - Naz Long scored 13 points to lead a balanced effort for No. 13 Iowa State in an 83-54 win over Drake on Saturday.

Monte Morris netted 12 points, while Dustin Hogue and Matt Thomas each chipped in with 10 points for the Cyclones (9-1), who have won six straight since their lone loss of the season, a 72-63 decision against Maryland on Nov. 25.

Iowa State shot 54 percent from the floor, including 52 percent from beyond the arc in the blowout win.

"Coach had a good gameplan for us," Morris said of the defensive effort. "We went out there and just executed today. We shrunk the floor and sprinted to gaps."

Drake was limited to 39 percent shooting and missed all eight of its attempts from 3-point range.

Jacob Enevold Jensen and Trevor Berkeley each scored 10 points to lead the Bulldogs (2-9).

"Very obvious statement. That's a very good basketball team," Drake coach Ray Giacoletti said of the Cyclones. "They are so versatile at every different spot."

The Cyclones jumped out to a 9-2 lead prior to the first media timeout.

Drake worked its way back from the quick flurry as Berkeley's jumper made it a 14-12 deficit for the hosts with 11:06 to play in the opening half. Thomas and Morris each scored five points during a 17-4 spurt that followed Berkeley's basket, and Iowa State grabbed a 36-20 advantage at the break.

The Cyclones stretched their lead to 19 early in the second before the Bulldogs netted six straight to cut the deficit to 41-28.

That would be as close as the hosts would get the rest of the way.

Iowa State ripped off a 32-10 run over the next 10-plus minutes to turn the game into a rout.
