There will be free football in Detroit on Monday night.

Fans are being offered free tickets to the NFL game that was moved to Ford Field from snow-plagued Buffalo.

The Lions say their season-ticket holders and those for the Buffalo Bills can use Flash Seats — a digital entry ticketing system — for general admission seats to Monday night's game between the Bills and New York Jets.

The general public can get tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday via Flash Seats at Detroitlions.com and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Ford Field's box office.

The game was scheduled for Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium. But the NFL moved it to Detroit's indoor stadium after a storm dumped more than 5 feet of snow on the Buffalo region since Monday.
