Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Cincinnati Bengals expect to have All-Pro receiver A.J. Green back from a three-game absence when the current AFC North leaders host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Though the Bengals listed Green as questionable on Friday's final injury report, head coach Marvin Lewis said the three-time Pro Bowl selection is on track to return from a sprained toe that has hampered him for most of this season's first half.

"A.J. has looked fine," Lewis said. "He wants to play. He's telling everybody he wants to play. If everything stays the way it is, he'll play."

While the Bengals should have their top wideout available for Sunday's matchup, their leading rusher will not play against the Jaguars. Running back Giovani Bernard was formally ruled out on Friday due to a hip injury he sustained during last weekend's 27-24 home win over division-rival Baltimore.

Rookie Jeremy Hill will serve as Cincinnati's lead back in place of Bernard, who has compiled 446 rushing yards and a team-high five touchdowns while adding 22 catches through the Bengals' seven games.

Cincinnati had already declared linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his knee Wednesday, out for Week 9. Middle linebacker Rey Maualuga is likely to miss Sunday's tilt as well due to a hamstring pull that has kept him out the previous two weeks. He was listed as doubtful.
