And so it begins, or resumes, for LeBron James and the Cavaliers.
Back home and where he began his NBA career, James and the Cavs are holding media day Friday as they begin a journey they hope ends with Cleveland's first pro sports championship since 1964. More than 300 media members, including TV crews from Germany, Japan and Brazil, have descended upon the team's training facility.
James re-signed as a free agent this summer with the Cavs after spending four seasons with the Miami Heat. His return was followed by the team's acquisition of All-Star forward Kevin Love, who along with James and guard Kyrie Irving gives the Cavs a "Big 3" perhaps better than the one that was in Miami.
The Cavs haven't been to the playoffs in four years, but they've been transformed from irrelevant to title favorite.
