Jordan Spieth helped the United States win the 2010 Junior Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.

He knew he'd have little chance playing in the real thing on the same PGA Centenary course four years later, calling it "a million to one."

Those odds appeared just as long at the start of 2013. Spieth had dropped out of the University of Texas and had no status on any tour.

However, within a year, Spieth had assured himself a PGA Tour card, won the John Deere Classic and played in the Presidents Cup.

Now he's back at Gleneagles, staying in the same team room as four years ago and one of three rookies out to regain the Ryder Cup for the Americans.
