Alabama still has competition for the starting job at quarterback.

Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban says both Blake Sims and Jake Coker will play Saturday against Florida Atlantic. He says he hasn't determined how the rotation will work for No. 2 Alabama.

Sims made his first career start against West Virginia and passed for 250 yards while completing 24 of 33 passes. Coker, a Florida State transfer, was in the game to run out the clock on a 33-23 victory and didn't attempt a pass.

Saban says Sims missed a couple of open receivers but also had some passes dropped.

He also says two starters will miss games. DeAndrew White is likely out two weeks with a right shoulder injury. Safety Jarrick Williams has a fractured bone in his foot.
