Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Blake Sims will reportedly be the starting quarterback for the second-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday when they take on West Virginia.

CBSSports.com, citing an unnamed source, is reporting that Sims will get the starting nod over Jacob Coker. The report adds that both Sims and Coker will play.

Sims is a fifth-year senior. He completed 23-of-39 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns as A.J. McCarron's backup a season ago.

Coker, a junior, was at Florida State last season, serving as backup to eventual Heisman winner Jameis Winston. In limited action last season, he completed 18-of-36 passes for 250 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.
