Lake Forest, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bears have terminated the contract of safety Craig Steltz.
The six-year veteran appeared in 77 games with eight starts for the Bears since 2008. He recorded 97 tackles, including 64 solo, with one interception, one sack and three forced fumbles.
Steltz, a fourth-round pick in the 2008 draft, also notched 58 special teams tackles in his tenure with the club.
