Bristol, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Persistent rain at Bristol Motor Speedway forced the postponement of Wednesday night's UNOH 200 Camping World Truck Series race.

The 200-lap race at this 0.533-mile short track has been rescheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m. ET. It will be televised live on Fox Sports 1.

Heavy rain showers moved over the track in the early evening. The green flag for this event was scheduled to drop at 8:46 p.m. ET. With rain continuing to fall, NASCAR officials made the decision just before 10 p.m. to postpone it until the following day.

On Wednesday afternoon, Kyle Busch claimed the pole with a qualifying lap at 124.662 mph. Busch, a Sprint Cup Series regular, has won a truck race at this track a record four times, including a victory in last year's event. He is scheduled to compete in all three NASCAR national touring series races at Bristol this week.

Cole Custer qualified second, followed by Ron Hornaday Jr, Brad Keselowski, also a Sprint Cup regular, and Gray Gaulding. Johnny Sauter, the current points leader and winner of last Saturday's race at Michigan, will start seventh.

According to the National Weather Service, the forecast for the Bristol area on Thursday calls for partly sunny skies during the morning and then a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon.
