Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Detroit Tigers pitcher Anibal Sanchez will not come off the disabled list anytime soon after suffering a setback while throwing Monday during his rehab from a strained pectoral muscle.

Sanchez, who last pitched on Aug. 8 against Toronto, had to stop throwing because of the pain.

"I have full motion in my arm, but it's still sore," said Sanchez before Tuesday's game against the New York Yankees. "It's really hard to explain that kind of pain. It's something like when you got a needle inside you, and you try to move it. That's the pain, like that."

Sanchez said he was told it was scar tissue breaking off from the original injury. He was tentatively slated to return Saturday for a doubleheader against the White Sox if there were no issues.

The right-hander is 8-5 with a 3.46 ERA in 21 starts this season.
