Novak Djokovic gets another chance to try to win the one that keeps getting away.

The world's No. 1 player is the top seed in the Western & Southern Open. It's the only Masters-level tournament that he hasn't won. He's reached the final four times and finished as the runner-up every time.

Defending champion Rafael Nadal is out of the tournament after injuring his right wrist. Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray have won eight of the last nine titles in Cincinnati. A couple of men's matches opened the tournament on Sunday.

Serena Williams is the top seed in the women's draw. She fell apart in the Cincinnati final last year, losing in three sets to Victoria Azarenka.
