Phoenix Suns forward P.J. Tucker has been sentenced to three days in jail and 11 days of home detention after pleading guilty to "super extreme" driving under the influence.

Tucker issued a statement apologizing for his actions. Phoenix Suns President of Basketball Operations Lon Babby says the organization believes Tucker's remorse is sincere and is convinced he will take the necessary steps to avoid such incidents in the future.

Police say Tucker had a blood alcohol level of .22 after he was arrested May 10 in Scottsdale.

Tucker agreed to put an interlock device on his car for 18 months, undergo substance abuse counseling, and pay fines of $2,750. He was placed on probation for up to five years.
