Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Astros have placed infielder Jesus Guzman on the 15-day disabled list with back spasms.
Guzman had to be removed from Friday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays due to the injury. He is hitting .200 with two homers and eight RBI in 60 games this season.
The Astros also recalled outfielder Domingo Santana from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Santana appeared in four games with Houston earlier this season.
