Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Steve Mason broke the little finger on his right hand and will miss around two weeks of on-ice training, the team announced Thursday.

The Flyers said Mason suffered the injury while playing hockey in his hometown of Oakville, Ontario, on Sunday. He will continue his off-ice training.

Mason, 26, compiled a 33-18-7 record with four shutouts, a .917 save percentage and a 2.50 goals-against average last season for the Flyers.

He was 2-2 with a 1.97 GAA in five games during the team's first-round playoff exit to the New York Rangers.
