Bucks sign free agent Jerryd Bayless; guard played for Memphis and Boston last season

Free agent guard Jerryd Bayless has signed a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 6-foot-3 guard played for Memphis and Boston last season, averaging 9.3 points in 72 games. Bayless was selected by the Indiana Pacers with the 11th overall pick in the 2008 draft. He was traded to Portland prior to his rookie season.

General manager John Hammond announced the signing Thursday, and the team did not disclose terms.
