Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - PGA TOUR - RBC CANADIAN OPEN, Royal Montreal Golf Club (Blue Course), Ile Bizard, Quebec - The PGA Tour heads north of the border this week to Quebec for the RBC Canadian Open.

Brandt Snedeker is back to defend his title from last year when he finished at 16-under 272, three shots clear of the field. The win was Snedeker's last on tour and his sixth career victory.

Snedeker, Matt Kuchar, Jim Furyk, Dustin Johnson, Graeme McDowell and Luke Donald are just a few names to look for at this week's event.

Furyk is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Open. McDowell ended seven shots off the lead and tied for ninth, while Johnson finished at 9-under and tied for 12th.

Golf Channel will have afternoon coverage all four days and will hand things off to CBS at 3 p.m. ET on the weekend.

The tour will have two events next week, including the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational and the Barracuda Championship. Tiger Woods won last years Bridgestone Invitational and Gary Woodland took home the Barracuda Championship title.

EUROPEAN TOUR

M2M RUSSIAN OPEN, Tseleevo Golf & Polo Club, Moscow, Russia - The European Tour is back in action after last weeks Open Championship. The tour heads to Russia this week for the M2M Russian Open.

Last year, Michael Hoey won his fifth career event on the European Tour when he finished four shots ahead of Alexandre Kaleka and Matthew Nixon. Hoey ended at 16-under-par 272. It was his last victory on tour.

A number of players are taking this week off following the Open. Only one player in the field, Morten Orum Madsen, has won an event on tour this season. Madsen took home the South African Open Championship title back in November. Hoey will not be playing in this week's event.

Golf Channel will have coverage of all four rounds.

Next week the European Tour will join the PGA Tour at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, where Tiger Woods won last year.

CHAMPIONS TOUR

SENIOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP, Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, Bridgend, Wales - After a week off, the Champions Tour is set for its fifth major of the year at the Senior Open Championship.

Mark Wiebe parred the fifth playoff hole on Monday to defeat 2010 champion Bernhard Langer and win his first major championship last year.

Wiebe fired a final-round, 4-under 66 to tie Langer at 9-under 271. The duo went to a playoff on Monday, where Wiebe emerged victorious. Wiebe and Langer are both in the field this week, with Langer looking to win his second major of the season. He also won the Senior Players Championship on June 29.

Kenny Perry and Colin Montgomerie are the other major winners this year. Perry won the Tradition, while Montgomerie won the Senior PGA Championship and the U.S. Senior Open Championship. Montgomerie is in this week's field, while Perry is not.

ESPN2 will have television coverage of all four rounds.

Next week the Champions Tour heads to the 3M Championship in Minnesota, where Tom Pernice, Jr. outlasted Corey Pavin and Jeff Sluman last year.

LPGA TOUR

INTERNATIONAL CROWN, Caves Valley Golf Club, Owings Mills, Maryland - The LPGA is set for the inaugural International Crown event, which is scheduled to be played every-other year.

Eight countries will be represented by four players. Thursday through Saturday, there will be eight round-robin four-ball matches and the event will conclude on Sunday with 10 singles matches. Five of the eight countries will advance to the Sunday singles matches based on the four-ball match outcomes.

The United States is in Pool A and they will go up against Chinese Taipei on Thursday, Spain on Friday and Thailand on Saturday. Pool B consists of the Republic of Korea, Japan, Sweden and Australia.

In the four-ball matches, two points are awarded to the winning team, one point is awarded for a tie and no points are given if a team loses. The two countries with the most points in each pool advance to Sunday. The country with the third-most points in each pool will play a wildcard playoff Saturday night to determine the final team.

World No. 1 Stacy Lewis headlines the United States team, while world No. 3 Inbee Park leads the way for the Republic of Korea. Sakura Yokomine will lead Japan and Pornanong Phatlum is the highest ranked player on Thailand.

The 20th ranked player in the world Azahara Munoz will lead Spain, No. 11 Anna Nordqvist headlines the Sweden team, Teresa Lu is the highest ranked player on Chinese Taipei and No. 7 Karrie Webb is the big player on Australia.

Golf Channel will have coverage of this event all four days.

The LPGA Tour is off next week. The tour returns the following week with a new event, the Meijer LPGA Classic.

WEB.COM TOUR

MIDWEST CLASSIC, Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate, Overland Park, Kansas - The Web.com Tour returns to Kansas for the Midwest Classic this week.

Jamie Lovemark carded a final-round, 5-under 66 last year and held off Mark D. Anderson to win by one stroke. Lovemark finished his four days at 18-under 266 and he captured his second career victory on the Web.com Tour.

Lovemark is not in the field this week, but a number of top players are, including Alex Cejka, Jon Curran, Andrew Putnam, Byron Smith, Steven Alker, Sebastian Cappelen, Greg Own, Roger Sloan, Andres Gonzales and last week's winner Steve Wheatcroft. All of those players have won on tour this year.

Also in the field is Jarrod Lyle, who makes his return to competitive golf this week after his second battle with leukemia. It has been 29 months since he last played in a PGA Tour-sanctioned event. He last played at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Mexico in February of 2012.

The Web.com Tour will head to the Stonebrae Classic in Hayward, California next week, where Alex Aragon won last year.
