South Carolina linebacker Kiawan Lewis expects the winning seasons to continue, despite the loss of stars like defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and quarterback Connor Shaw.

Clowney, Shaw, defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles and wide receiver Bruce Ellington were the catalysts of unprecedented success for South Carolina, which went 11-2 each of the past three seasons. The Gamecocks ended last season ranked fourth in the country.

Lewis, a junior linebacker, believes things won't come crashing down this season. Others agree since South Carolina was picked to win the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division this week despite not having a player named to the all-SEC preseason first team.

Lewis says the players coming back have plenty of pride and are eager to show they can live up the foundation built before them.
