St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers activated infielder Justin Turner from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

Turner had been placed on the DL June 29 thanks to a left hamstring strain after suffering the injury while running out an RBI double in a 9-1 win over St. Louis one day prior.

The 29-year-old infielder owns a .302 batting average with three home runs and 21 RBI across 59 games for the Dodgers this season.

Los Angeles optioned infielder Carlos Triunfel to Triple-A Albuquerque to make room for Turner's activation.

Earlier Friday, the club recalled pitcher Paco Rodriguez from the Isotopes.
