Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Tamika Catchings scored 10 of her game- high 25 points in the fourth quarter to help the Indiana Fever hold on to beat the Chicago Sky 71-67 on Saturday.

Briann January added 14 points and dished out seven assists for the Fever, who have won three straight and took a half-game lead over Washington for the second seed in the Eastern Conference with one game remaining.

Allie Quigley came off the bench and led the Chicago with 17 points as the Sky lost for just the second time in their last seven games. Elena Delle Donne and Epiphanny Prince posted 14 and 11 points, respectively.

Chicago is one game behind Indiana for the second seed and a half-game back of Washington for the third seed with one game left.

The Fever dominated right from the start, going up by as much as 18 before heading into the second quarter with a 32-16 lead. Chicago started the second on a 7-0 run to pull within nine, but the Fever took a 44-31 lead into the break.

The Sky opened the third quarter with another 7-0 run and Quigley capped an 11-1 run for Chicago with a 3-pointer with 13 seconds left in the third to cut the lead to two. The Sky came within two points again on a jumper by Quigley with just over 30 seconds remaining, but Catchings hit both of her ensuing free throws to give the Fever the win.

The Fever outscored the Sky 34-18 in the paint and 18-7 in second-chance points.

Indiana closes out the regular season on Sunday at New York and Chicago hosts San Antonio in its finale on Sunday.
