Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Justin Rose earned his second win in as many starts at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open on Sunday, with the effort moving him to No. 3 in this week's world rankings.
Rose, who fired a 6-under 65 in his final round to roll to a 2-stroke win over Kristoffer Broberg in Aberdeen, jumped up three spots from sixth last week. He was coming off a win two weeks ago at the PGA Tour's Quicken Loans National.
The top two places ahead of Rose remained the same, as Adam Scott maintained the top spot ahead of Henrik Stenson.
Rose's move to third caused Bubba Watson, Matt Kuchar and Jason Day to all fall a place to sit in fourth through sixth, respectively. Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia and Jordan Spieth again rounded out the top 10.
Jim Furyk, Martin Kaymer and Phil Mickelson all held firm from 11th to 13, while Zach Johnson moved up a pair of slots to 14th following his second-place finish at the John Deere Classic.
Hideki Matsuyama stayed at 15th as Dustin Johnson fell two spots to 16th. Graeme McDowell, Jimmy Walker, Steve Stricker and Luke Donald stayed put to complete the top 20.
Brian Harman held off Zach Johnson at the John Deere Classic to collect his first career win, with the victory vaulting him 45 places in the rankings to No. 70. Harman also earned the final spot up for grabs for the British Open with the win.
