Simon, Clippard added to NL All-Star roster in place of Cueto and Teheran

MINNEAPOLIS – Right-handers Alfredo Simon of the Cincinnati and Tyler Clippard of Washington have been added to the National League All-Star game roster in place of the Reds' Johnny Cueto and Atlanta's Julio Teheran, who both started Sunday.

Simon is 12-3 with a 2.70 ERA, and Clippard is 6-2 with a 2.03 ERA in 43 relief appearances.

The game is scheduled for Tuesday night at Target Field.
