Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - Tuesday's game between the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals was postponed due to rain.

Umpires decided to postpone the contest around 2 1/2 hours after it was set to begin. It will be made up Monday, Aug. 4, at Nationals Park.

The Beltway rivals will play Wednesday and Thursday this week at Camden Yards in Baltimore. The Orioles won Monday, 8-2, by hitting three home runs in the 11th inning.

Baltimore's Bud Norris and Washington's Doug Fister, the expected starters Tuesday, will pitch Wednesday.
