Shkodran Mustafi will get his first World Cup start for Germany in the second round match against Algeria on Monday.

Mustafi replaces center back Mats Hummels, who is out with the flu. Mustafi will start at right back, with Jerome Boateng moving into the central position.

Slimani was on the bench for most of the team's opening match but has scored in the last two games and was the team's standout player when it beat South Korea 4-2.
