Croatia coach Niko Kovac says his attackers are too good to be intimidated by a Mexico defense that has shut out its first two World Cup opponents, including host country Brazil.

Kovac says, "if anybody's knees should be trembling, it should be" those of the Mexican defense when the two sides meet in a pivotal Group A match Monday night.

Croatia must win to advance, while Mexico needs only a draw.

Kovac points out that his side's five goals through two games are the most of any team in Group A. Most came in a 4-0 triumph over Cameroon in which Bayern Munich star Mario Madzukic scored twice. Madzukic was returning from a one-game suspension and will again lead the attack against Mexico and its standout goalkeeper, Guillermo Ochoa.
