Omer Damari and Gil Vermouth scored in the second half to help Israel beat World Cup-bound Honduras 4-2 on Sunday night in an international friendly.

Honduras also dropped a 2-0 decision to Turkey on Thursday night in Washington.

Honduras tied it at 1 early in the second half on Roger Espinoza's goal, but Israel regained the lead in the 52nd minute on an own goal as Tal Ben Haim's shot from the left box went in off Honduras' Maynor Figueroa.

Damari added to the lead in the 60th minute. Vermouth had a shot from the left box bounce off the near post to the middle box where Damari gathered it, turned and scored.

Vermouth made it 4-1 in the 75th minute, taking a pass in the upper right box, gathering it and sending a shot off the near post and into the goal.

Carlo Costly scored in the 83rd minute for Honduras, heading in a cross from Espinoza.

Eran Zahavi put Israel ahead in the 33rd minute.
