(SportsNetwork.com) - After having a four-game winning streak stopped on Friday night, the Cleveland Indians will attempt to get back on track on Saturday afternoon as their four-game series with the Baltimore Orioles continues at Camden Yards.
The Indians held a 4-3 lead after a four-run outburst in the top of the fourth inning, punctuated by a three-run home run by Jason Giambi, but the Orioles answered with two runs in the fifth and three more in the seventh to capture an 8-4 victory and even the series.
Chris Davis continued his hot streak by going 2-for-3 with four RBI, belting his seventh home run of the year in the process. He's now 8-for-16 with four longballs and 10 RBI in his last four games.
"I'm pretty pleased," Davis said. "I think it was just a matter of time. I thought I was fouling a lot of pitches off (early in the season), good pitches to drive. Now I'm obviously not missing them, so it feels good to swing the bat well."
Nick Markakis collected four hits out of the leadoff spot, while Adam Jones finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored.
Bud Norris (3-4) allowed six hits, three walks and four earned runs over six innings of work but did enough to earn the win.
T.J. House (0-1) was saddled with the loss, yielding 11 hits, two walks and five earned runs in six innings in his first-career start. His major league debut came on May 17, pitching a perfect inning in relief.
Lonnie Chisenhall was the lone Cleveland player with multiple hits, finishing 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Corey Kluber, who's fourth in the American League in strikeouts with 74, will take the hill for the Indians on Saturday, attempting to improve upon his 4-3 record and 3.43 ERA.
Kluber earned a no-decision in his latest start after allowing three earned runs over seven innings of work against Detroit on May 19 in a game the Indians won 5-4. The 28-year-old struck out eight Tigers for his fourth straight start with at least that many punchouts.
In five starts on the road this season, Kluber has a 4.34 ERA with a batting average against of .308.
The Orioles will counter with Ubaldo Jimenez, who's just 2-5 in his first season in Baltimore with a 4.50 ERA.
Jimenez had gone three straight starts having allowed one run or fewer prior to his last outing, when he was knocked around for eight hits and five earned runs over five innings of work in a loss to Kansas City.
"Even though I was making good pitches, they found a way to hit the ball hard," Jimenez said. "(The Royals) had a really good game. There's nothing I can do but move on."
The hard-throwing right-hander has never pitched against his former team. He was 26-30 in 74 starts with the Indians from 2011-13.
The Indians and Orioles split a four-game set last season in Baltimore.
