Juventus clinched its third consecutive Serie A title on Sunday, while the already intriguing title race in Spain tightened even further as Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid both slipped up, while Chelsea is all but out of contention in the Premier League after a 0-0 draw against Norwich.
As the European season nears the end, here is a look at the action from the leading leagues:

ITALY
With second-place Roma losing 4-1 at Catania, Juventus' eight-point lead became insurmountable because Roma only has two matches remaining.
And Juve's players and coach Antonio Conte started celebrating the Turin team's 30th Serie A title at the team hotel as they prepared for Monday's match against Atalanta.
"I was sleeping, resting up for tomorrow's match," striker Carlos Tevez told Sky television. "But my teammates woke me up and there was a lot of excitement. Although I was hoping to celebrate the title before our fans tomorrow."
Also, AC Milan beat Inter Milan 1-0 in the city derby after Netherlands midfielder Nigel de Jong scored in the 65th minute.
Inter remained fifth while Milan is tied with Parma in seventh.

SPAIN
Atletico's march toward its first title since 1996 hit a bump when it lost 2-0 at Levante, although its city rival failed to make up much ground as Madrid needed a spectacular injury-time equalizer from Cristiano Ronaldo to salvage a 2-2 draw at home against Valencia.
Atletico would still be guaranteed the title if it wins its last two games, as it leads Barcelona by three points with two games left for each team. They play each other in the final round at Camp Nou.
Ronaldo deftly used the sole of his right boot to turn in a cross in the 92nd minute and leave Madrid five points behind Atletico with a game in hand, to be played at Valladolid on Wednesday.
Barcelona had written off its title defense after drawing 2-2 with Getafe on Saturday, but the race is now wide open again.

ENGLAND
The Premier League title race is realistically down to Manchester City and Liverpool now, after Chelsea's latest stumble at Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho's team was held to a 0-0 draw by Norwich on Sunday, meaning City and Liverpool would have to lose both of their final games to give Chelsea any hope of capturing the trophy. Chelsea is a point behind City and Liverpool in third but has only one game remaining with an inferior goal difference. Chelsea did, however, secure the third automatic Champions League qualification spot, with fourth place going to Arsenal, which beat West Bromwich Albion 1-0 through Olivier Giroud's goal on Sunday.
The drab Stamford Bridge draw also did little to ease Norwich's relegation fears. Norwich needs to beat Arsenal next weekend, while hoping Sunderland loses its two remaining games, in order to avoid the drop.

FRANCE
Saint-Etienne beat Montpellier 2-0 in the French league on Sunday to strengthen its grip on fourth place and keep alive its slim hopes of securing a Champions League spot, while Marseille stayed on track for a Europa League place after beating rival Lyon 4-2 at home.
Saint-Etienne needs to win its last two matches to stand any chance of overtaking third-placed Lille, which is five points ahead.
